If I had to sum up 2025 in one word, it would be growth.

This year felt like an unpredictable roller coaster—one that tested patience, resilience, and perspective at every turn. We started the year in the trenches, watching our community face devastating fires. Those moments were heavy. Sobering. But what stood out most wasn’t the destruction—it was the response. Seeing people come together, stronger and more resilient than ever, was the first real lesson of the year in what growth actually looks like.

A Shift in Perspective

On a personal level, 2025 was unforgettable. This was my first full year with my daughter, Katherine Rae, and taking the time to watch her grow into her own little person has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

Becoming a father changes you. It changed my perspective in ways I didn’t expect. It makes you deeply aware of the one thing you can’t buy back: time. This year taught me to protect my energy and to be intentional about where—and with whom—I spend it. The people who matter most deserve the best of us, not what’s left over.

The Hustle, the Grind, and the Team

Professionally, 2025 was a record-breaker. I sold more real estate this year than any other year in my two-decade career. From the outside, it might look like a highlight reel—but halfway through the year, it didn’t feel like a win at all. It felt like a grind.

What got us through wasn’t luck. It was the team.

Adding Molly and Alex to the REALIV family and finally meeting the team behind the team in person was a powerful reminder of something I’ve learned again and again: when you surround yourself with the right people, growth isn’t just a goal—it’s inevitable.

Looking Ahead

2025 was about building the foundation.
2026 is about building the dream.

They say we overestimate what we can accomplish in one year, but underestimate what we can do in five. This year reinforced that truth. Growth takes patience. It takes trust. And it takes showing up even when the progress isn’t obvious.

So here’s to trusting the process—
We’re just getting started.
